a MYBA sponsor can be the most rewarding decision
you can make. By making an investment in an organization
that serves young Muslims and seeks to prepare them
to make positive contributions to society, you are
making an investment that has a dividend return
that no Fortune 500 company or Wall Street investment
broker can match.
Prophet Muhammad (saaws) has informed us of the
great significance of the perpetual or "running
charity" (sadaqah jaariyah),
"When a person dies, all his deeds come
to an end except three: sadaqah jaariyah, beneficial
knowledge [that he discovered or propogated], and
a righteous son who will pray for him "
and
"Whoever establishes a good way will have
its reward, as well as the reward of whoever follows
it until the Day of Judgment."
This sadaqah jaariyah leads to Thawaab
-e-Jaariyah (perpetual blessings) because the
youth and the rest of the community continue to
benefit from the contribution. Becoming a MYBA sponsor
is utilizing yet another means of bringing our youth
closer to the masjid and the Islamic community.
Which is the best scenario?
a.
Our youth playing basketball in the neighborhoods and
environment where the call to prayer is not heard and
every vice and un-Islamic activity imaginable is freely
available and beckoning them to it's way?
or....
b. the scenario where our youth feels proud to be apart
of a first-rate quality Muslim founded and operated activity
where they come together for both love of the game of
basketball and love for the Deen such that when the adhaan
is called playing comes to a halt and the lines of congregational
salaat form.
Following
are some ways that you can support youth programs through
MYBA sponsorship
Join
with individuals, business owners, corporations, or
organizations in a joint-sponsorship of a MYBA league
or tournament event. In addition to being placed on
the MYBA website as a sponsor, your corporate logo or
patron ad will be prominently displayed at the event
as well as frequent announcement over the public address
system.
Sponsor
a team(s) in purchasing of uniforms, sports drinks during
games, etc.
Partner
with MYBA and the Darul Arqam North Student Council
joint venture to finance the purchase and installation
of the following at Masjid Bilal Community Center gym.
- electronic wall-mounted scoreboards* (dual purpose
basketball/volleyball)
- commercial grade window coverings (needed for sister's
basketball and volleyball )
- wood or composite laminate gym floor (long-term objective)
Donate
services: i.e. t-shirt screen printing, paper printing,
laminating, laundry (uniforms), security, janitorial
services,etc.

has a four-tier sponsorship program:
Silver
- $500
Gold
- $1,000
Platinum
- $2,000
Diamond
- $4,000
MYBA regards its sponsors as highly-valued clients. Upon
contractual agreement, MYBA will work to maximize sponsor
visibility and exposure by employing professionally
produced full-color banners at event site, radio
advertising, and newspaper/print advertising
, and frequent sponsor "plugs"
over the public address system during events.

* NOTE: Scoreboards have 2 optional sponsor logo/advertising
panels. This amounts to maximun and continuous exposure
for your business since whenever someone looks at the score
they can be reminded who supports the Muslim youth basketball
and volleyball programs. The school's athletic dept. could
become self-sufficient by selling scoreboard advertising.
