We're
embarking on a campaign to develop the kind of quality, competitive
basketball program that Muslim sisters and their associates
can be proud to be apart of.
We want a program that appreciates competitive basketball for
the social and physical benefits that it offers while building
the kind of comraderie and sisterhood that transcends
the barriers that divide us-------bringing us together for love
of the Deen and adhering to the Islamic way of life.
However,none
of this is possible without the support and active participation
of players, team representatives, parents and generous sponsors.
We ask that you do your part in promoting this new program so
that it may one day soon fully-realize it's potential here in
Houston, across the State of Texas and indeed the nation.
If
we can develop at least 6 teams (preferably 8) who can be committed
to playing one day/one game per week during the summer we will
be well one our way towards inaugurating MYBA Sisters with our
first league and tournament championship. Read the flier below
